The Mission of GSBCC
The mission of the Greater Savannah Black Chamber of Commerce is to empower and educate African-American, other minorities, and women-owned businesses in the Savannah Metropolitan and surrounding areas that will foster a thriving and sustainable business environment.
Our Story
The Greater Savannah Black Chamber of Commerce (GSBCC) was founded with a clear purpose: to champion and uplift Black-owned businesses and professionals in the Savannah region. What began as a grassroots eort to create economic opportunities for Black entrepreneurs has grown into a vibrant community hub, advocating for policies and resources that drive meaningful change.
Through a network of members, partners, and allies, GSBCC provides the tools and support Black-owned and small businesses need to thrive — from educational workshops and marketing initiatives to advocacy eorts and cultural events. We believe in building wealth within our communities and fostering pathways for growth, collaboration, and leadership.
Our story is about more than commerce; it’s about community, equity, and the power of working together to create an inclusive, resilient economy for all.
