EmpowHer: Voices of Influence is a signature women’s empowerment experience hosted by the Greater Savannah Black Chamber of Commerce, created to celebrate leadership, visibility, and the power of women’s voices within our community. The event centers meaningful conversation, shared experience, and intentional connection among women across industries and stages of leadership.

This year’s program features three of Savannah’s most respected news anchors, Dawn Baker, Kim Gusby, and Tina Tyus-Shaw, in an honest and engaging discussion on influence, representation, and navigating high impact careers. Moderated by Dr. Janelle Williams, the conversation explores how women use their voices and platforms to inform, lead, and create lasting change both professionally and personally.

EmpowHer is designed as a full experience that balances inspiration with restoration. Attendees will enjoy a cocktail hour, shop women-owned business vendors, and participate in mini-activations including affirmation yoga, paint and sip, and chair massages. The evening creates space for reflection, self-care, and community building in an environment rooted in celebration and support.

EmpowHer: Voices of Influence brings women together to be inspired, affirmed, and energized while honoring the stories, leadership, and collective power that continue to shape Savannah.
